Obituary for Joan Evelyn Manning (Kavanagh)
Manning, Joan Evelyn [nee Kavanagh] - Joan Evelyn Manning formerly of Bell Island, Newfoundland, passed away on Sunday March 15th, 2020 at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard at the age of 68 years. Mrs Manning was a resident of Temagami, Ontario where she had been enjoying living out her golden years.
She was born to Andrew and Mary Kavanagh on July 9th, 1951 in the small community of island of Bell Island, Newfoundland.
Joan Manning is survived by her two daughters Danielle Leonard and husband Scott of Brantford, ON and Christine Tomlinson and husband Todd of Stoney Creek, ON. She was most proud of her three beautiful grandchildren Brooke, Kaitlyn and Dale.
Joan loved spending time with her family and dear friends. Those who knew Joan, knew how generous she was with her time and resources for all her friends, family and those in need. She was a true animal lover and cared for her pets including her dogs and cats. Her daughters would like to take this opportunity to thank the many kind people who helped care for her and simplify her days.
As per her request, there will be no funeral service at this time. A celebration of life is being arranged, date to be determined. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society, a charity near and dear to Joan’s heart.
