Cynthia “Cyndie” Ann Caron (nee Lancaster, formerly Reid)
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cyndie Ann announces her sudden passing on June 3, 2018 at the age of 54. Cyndie was born on November 15, 1963 in Kirkland Lake. She was raised in New Liskeard and lived there and in Haileybury for most of her life.
Survived by her husband Denis and lovingly remembered by her beloved daughter Rebecca Reid and her sister Janice Lancaster. She will be missed by her extended family, friends, co-workers at Chartrand’s and by those whose lives she touched.
Cyndie was predeceased by her parents William and Iris Lancaster, sister Ann Dupuis, uncle Jonathon Lancaster, uncle and aunt Kenneth and Elfleda Morgan, grandfather Samuel Morgan and grandmother Amy Lancaster.
Cyndie was a delightful and selfless person who was a writer and poet. She loved hockey, museums, and taking long walks. She was a pet lover, having many dogs, cats, rabbits and birds in her lifetime. She leaves behind a dog Misty, and a cat Rex who will also miss her dearly.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 483 Broadway Street, Haileybury, with a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army Church, 260 Whitewood Avenue, New Liskeard.
