Watts, Harold Andrew Murray - Harold Andrew Murray Watts died peacefully on May 3, 2018 at Temiskaming Hospital at the age of 82, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Harold leaves his spouse, Carolyn, and daughter, Karen, grandsons Ryan (Natalie), Colby, Calvin (Amanda), and Brett, and great-grandson Charles. Harold also leaves his sister, Betty (Ken), and steps Jack (Nancy), Christine, William (Sally), Wendy (Ed), Jennifer, Barbara, and Corry. Harold is predeceased by his son, Kevin.
Harold was born in Cobalt and graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines in 1956. Harold accomplished many things in his career. In his lifetime he was a shaft-sinker and underground miner in Cobalt, Elliot Lake, southwestern US and Mexico, and prospecting and diamond drilling in the Arctic and prospecting throughout northern Ontario and Quebec. Harold enjoyed his life and always felt a new adventure was waiting over the next hill. He will be remembered and cherished in our hearts as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
A Celebration of Life will follow. The family asks for any donations in lieu of flowers be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
