Obituary for Marlene Norma Corbett (Robinson)
Corbett, Norma Marlene - With sorrow the family announces the death of Mrs Marlene Corbett at the age of 81 years. Mrs Corbett passed away peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital with her loving family by her side, Monday, March 12, 2018.
Born at Parry Sound, February 19, 1937 to the late Leonard Robinson and the late Mabel Thompson. Mrs Corbett had lived in Temagami for most of her life and more recently made her home at Temiskaming Lodge. She led an active life over the years and gave of her time to various causes. She had been a member of the Gowganda Lioness and the Friendly Group of Temagami. Mrs Corbett had volunteered her time to the Non Profit Housing Board and security at Minawasi House where she lived for the past 23 years.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband Ed Corbett [Octboer 31, 2003]; and by her sisters: Lois Nelson and Sheila Gilbert. Left to mourn are her loving children: Doug [Lucille] Corbett of Redbridge, Cathy [Richard] Benner of Bonfield, Shannon Corbett [Chris Hart] of Slave Lake, Alberta and Rick [Kim] Corbett of Temagami. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Tammy, Richard, Tommy, Christopher, Casandra, Brad, Mark and Cody; twelve great-grandchildren; her sister Adele [Lloyd] Irwin of Mount Elgin. Also survived my many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
