Duguay, Joseph André Rosaire - With sorrow the family announce the death of Mr Rosaire Duguay at the age of 85 years. Mr Duguay passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, Monday, Februrary 26, 2018 at Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury.
Born at Angliers, Québec to the late Marius Duguay and the late Régina Lamothe, Roaire had lived in Earlton for many years and more recently at Temiskaming Lodge. He had been an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed working on many projects in his shop. He also loved his vegetable garden. Rosaire was always willing to help others as his neighbors can attest. He is remembered as a loving and devoted family man.
Predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife Eva [Gervais], his grandsons: Daniel Loranger and Alex Duguay and by his sister Gisèle Houle. Left to mourn are his loving children: Denise Duguay, Claude and his wife Céline Duguay, Suzanne and her husband Réal Loranger, Richard Duguay and his wife Nancy Gagnon and Gilles Duguay and his wife Marie Prince. Cherished grandfather of Patrick Neron, Josée Ruddy, Isabelle Ouellette, Alain Duguay, Felix Duguay, Michelle Loranger, Tommy Gagnon-Duguay, Samuel Gagnon-Duguay, Cloé Gagnon-Duguay, Chanelle McLean, Angele Duguay, Chanelle Lemire, Isabelle Lemire; great-grandchildren Kaylee, Zoë, MacKenzie, Madison, Kaeden, Alyssia, Kelsey, Austyn, Kalianna, Aubree, Aavah, Trenton, Aleeyah-Sky, Denver, Landon, Carter, Annabelle and Rosalie. Also left to mourn are his siblings: André Duguay, Gérard Duguay, Estelle Duguay, Gertrude Létourneau, Lilliane Duguay, Léa Duguay and Louis Duguay.
The Duguay family will welcome friends at St-Jean-Baptiste Church Hall - Earlton, Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm and Friday, March 2, 2018 from 9:30 - 10:30. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St-Jean-Baptiste Church, Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00am. Father Germain Turcotte officiating. Spring interment will take place at Armstrong Township Cemetery.
