Obituary for Catherine Jane Temoin (Hewson)
Temoin, Catherine Jane - With sadness the family announces the death of Mrs Catherine Temoin of Haileybury at the age of 62 years. Mrs Temoin passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard on Sunday, June 25, 2017 following a brief illness.
Catherine was born on March 13, 1955 in Brampton to the late James Hewson and Betty Sinclair. She will be remembered for her love of playing lottery tickets and was affectionately known as 'Mamma Poker' at Mike's One Stop Confectionery. Catherine will also be remembered for her love of her cats but most importantly she will be remembered as a woman with a big heart, always putting the needs of others before her own. She loved her family dearly and looked forward to any time spent with them.
Catherine is survived by her loving children: Shawn Temoin, Suzette Thompson, Blaine Paquet, Kate and her husband Rob Forget, Adrienne Klaassen and Linda and her husband Edward Holley. Also surviving is her mother Mrs Betty Kretschman, eleven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters; her brother William and his wife Nancy Hewson as well as Cathrine's shopping buddy and the father of Catherine's three daughters Peter and his wife Sarah-Jane Klaassen.
In keeping with Catherine's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions to Community Cancer Care will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
