Eileen Pritchard (Hambley)
Pritchard, Eileen Adele [Hambley] - The family announces the peaceful passing of Mrs Eileen Pritchard at her home, Sunday, February 26, 2017 in her 94th year.
Born in York Township on October 02, 1922 to the late Henry Hambley and to the late Lillian Norris, Mrs Pritchard was a long time Haileybury resident. She will be remembered for her many involvements in the community such as being a member of the Haileybury Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch #54, founding member of the Haileybury Seniors Club, founding member of the Seniors Olympics in our area and she was recognized as the 2003 Senior Citizen of the year. Aside from her community involvements, Mrs Pritchard's personal interests included bowling, playing darts, belonging to the bridge club and many more. But her greatest pleasure was any time spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Her strong presence will be missed.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband Edward Pritchard; her son Aaron Pritchard as well as her many brothers and sisters. Mrs Pritchard is the loving mother of Muriel Payne [Jim Bishop], Andrew Pritchard, Fred Pritchard [Angie Lajoie], Peter [Arlene] Pritchard, Marianne Coull [Marcus Tasse], Richard [Denise] Pritchard, Glen Pritchard, John [Heather] Pritchard and Jody [Arnold] Puccini. Mrs Pritchard is the cherished grand mother of Ophelia, Ritchie, Jesse, Cindy, Stephen, Therese, Aaron, Amanda, Shannon, Alisha, Eric, Correne, Mathew, Eddie, Samantha, Mercedes and Andreas. Also surviving are twenty seven great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren as well as many extended family members.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Haileybury Legion Branch #54 on Saturday March 04, 2017 from 11:00am until 6:00pm. A time of remembrance will begin at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
